When I was back in Strasbourg, I met up with
Amy who had not been well but it was good to see her. She has another 2 cds out of her piano pieces. I listened to her music tonight and it was so good - even when I have never had any classical training or ear for music by Debussy or Schumann. It sounded so fluid and made me wonder at the hours she must have spend practising. Amy told me how she had wanted to play the piano when she was a child..I cannot remember whether that was when she was still in Taiwan or when she had moved to the USA.

The other Chinese friend who leaves me in awe for her artistic talent is
Atasha whom I met in Paris at the ICHIM conference. She sent me this picture in her new year greetings.

She is very kind and tries to include me in a creativity network but I am a pleb and cannot always rise to the same level or verve. She is also

Head of Paris Office, MOCAChina|Museums of Contemporary Art.
I cannot keep up with her and her exhibitions everywhere.
Tonight I was discussing about possible business ventures with friends in the pub, I realised that when it comes to producing a product - there was nothing I could say I could produce. Do we have to have a trade? But Amy and Atasha produce stuff that gives people enjoyment. That seems like a cause for celebration!
