I was checking my mail when Morphy, who was sitting behind me on the head rest of my chair -his favourite position, send out a paw to get my attention and poked me in my eye! Aiyaiyai! that was painful. After a while, I started sending out phonecalls to look for a new home for him. I did not realise how a kitten could be so disruptive to my life - or indeed dangerous. He is a lovely cat but very playful and when I am tired he is especially perilous. He often attacks my fingers when I am on the computer and when I am manipulating the joystick on my chair. And as for transfers...
But nobody wanted to give him a home. And I calmed down. I told John but Tim doesn't want him neither. Tim's asthmatic.
Philipe came to pick John and I for lunch. It's lovely to catch up with Maria Louisa and their kids, Anna, Sonya and Rapheal and the family warmth as we ate a lovely guinea fowl for lunch. I remember Philipe calling us to tell us of Rapheal's birth. And he is at least 10 years old now. Maria Louisa is a Spanish teacher, from Madrid originally and we connect well on being non French and the feelings of being aliens. Philipe works for the Archbishop of Strasbourg on interfaith matters. Anna and John were in the same class at
maternelle at the international school. How time flies!
