David invited me to see a film - we decided on Anderw Lloyd Webber's "
Phantom of the Opera ". I enjoyed it altho' I read it had some bad
reviews. I do agree that the guy who played the phantom was too good looking for the role (but I am not complaining).
However, we stopped for a drink before the show. UCG -
Ciné Cité has a bar and quick snack place where you can get a toasted cheese sandwich etc. It is quite nice - a trifle too modern for some people's tastes but I noticed that the bar had a lower counter for people with wheelchairs. I quite like that - frequently I feel excluded from a bar because I cannot perch with my drink. It's good to have a place to put my drink at the bar.
I am deliberating whether I can justify a cinema card on my budget. With a 30 euros card, I can see all the films I want for 18 euros a month. At the moment it is 8 euros for each film - depending on the time of the day - its much cheaper in the morning.
